I’m a mom of four, a mental load manager, a professional snack distributor… and the person behind Crying in the Pantry.
This space started the way most things do in motherhood, somewhere between exhaustion, overstimulation, and realizing I needed a place to put all the thoughts that I usually try to keep inside.
Because the truth is…
Motherhood is beautiful. And overwhelming. And exhausting. And sometimes really lonely, all at the same time.
And while everyone loves to post the highlight reels of the perfect moments, I wanted a space for the real ones too.
The moments where:
- you’re touched out
- your brain won’t turn off
- you’re carrying 47 invisible responsibilities
- and you just need a minute… alone… preferably with a snack
Here, we don’t sugarcoat life.
(Just the snacks.)
You’ll find:
- honest thoughts about motherhood and mental health
- the mental load no one prepares you for
- small wins that deserve more credit
- and reminders that you’re not the only one feeling this way
If you’ve ever hidden in the pantry (or your car, or your bathroom), cried over something small, or wondered if you’re the only one struggling to keep it all together…
You’re not.
And I’m really glad you’re here.
